This website was created to provide complete and up to date information on the United States Mint’s First Spouse Gold Coins.
Each year starting in 2007, one-half ounce 24 karat gold coins have been issued to honor the spouse of each President. The release dates follow the order of the Presidency, with the series running until 2016 when all eligible spouses have been honored.
These coins have featured an interesting variety of designs, with sometimes enticingly low mintages. While the series does not rival the broad popularity of other gold coin series, there are a number of collectors who believe that the First Spouse Gold Coins present an excellent long term opportunity.
This website provides information on the release dates, original issue prices, and final mintages for each coin of the series. Large sized images of each coin are also included.
